LP48 6th Weekend @ Sentosa

In a blink of an eye, another year has passed and LP48's entered it's 6th weekend. This year's organising small group, AMOUR, planned a great session for us to reconnect with each other, reflect back on the past year, and what's ahead for the next year. The activities also brought out the child in us cos we most certainly had loads of fun.

A day at the beach. We brought our usual lot of yummy food to share. Did our sharing bit... then it was photo session. LP48 so loves to take photos; no wonder we're called the LOVE LP not for nothing... It took us at least 4 different shots before we finally got the perfect group pic.

Water Activity: split into 2 groups, and competed with each other to fill up the water bags, and transfer it down the line without moving. Thankfully, our group was full of MM-ers, we discussed and went into positions quite quickly. Unlike the other team, took the full 5mins to plan. 1 of our team member wasn't feeling well, so took cover when the rain came pouring down. We managed to convince Anthony that we need to be flexible cos 1 man down... so both Kevin & Harris, both at the end of the line, ran forward to help May fill up few water bags.... Our competitor cried foul, thankfully Anthony, backed us up hehe... As the rain got heavier, we just continued playing cos having fun is the motto of the day. Most of us felt like children, and many commented it's been ages since they played in the rain. So.. we were really like adults deprived of childhood fun..

Although the rain came earlier than expected, we had great fun, and most importantly, coming together and re-connect with one another, and be each other's support. Not forgetting our tradition, writing down each small group's goals for the next year, stick in the album, and pass it on to the next organising small group. It's been 3 years since we completed our LP journey... and we still continue the tradition and live out the spirit of the journey in our own unique LP48's ways.
